Wildfire Affiliate Program – Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By signing up as an Affiliate in the Wildfire Affiliate Program (“Program”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Wildfire Oil may update or change these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Violation of these terms may result in termination of your account and forfeiture of outstanding affiliate commissions.

2. Summary

  • Minimum payout threshold: $50 AUD.
  • Payments processed monthly for balances above the threshold.
  • 30-day cookie window (last-click attribution).
  • Ethical marketing practices and accurate disclosures required.

3. Account Terms

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate.
  • Participation is open to Australia and approved countries.
  • No bots or automated registrations.
  • No shared accounts.
  • Provide accurate contact and PayPal details.
  • Maintain the security of your login.
  • No multiple accounts or self-referrals.

4. Links and Graphics

  • You receive a unique Affiliate Code upon approval.
  • Use only Wildfire-approved banners and graphics.
  • Ensure correct tracking formats.
  • Link to relevant category or product pages where possible.
  • Wildfire is not responsible for lost commissions from incorrect link use.

5. Referral Fees and Payment

  • Commissions earned when a purchase is completed through your Special Link.
  • 30-day cookie window applies.
  • Commission rate may vary per affiliate or campaign.
  • Only tracked and recorded sales qualify.
  • Earnings below $50 AUD roll over monthly.
  • Rates may be adjusted with notice.
  • Fraudulent or non-compliant commissions are disqualified.

6. Identifying Yourself as a Wildfire Affiliate

  • No press releases without approval.
  • No misrepresentation of your relationship with Wildfire.
  • No purchases for personal use through your own links.

7. Payment Schedule

  • Paid monthly via PayPal for balances above $50 AUD.
  • Affiliates cover PayPal fees and currency conversions.
  • Wildfire is not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect details.

8. Customer Definition

Customers referred through the Program are considered Wildfire Oil customers. Wildfire may adjust policies, pricing, or offerings at any time.

9. Affiliate Responsibilities

As an Affiliate, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining your website or marketing channels.
  • Complying with hosting provider requirements.
  • Posting accurate, lawful content with proper disclosure.
  • Complying with privacy and data regulations.
  • Ensuring you can receive essential Program communications such as updates, payment notifications, and important account notices.
  • Keeping account details up-to-date.

10. Compliance with Laws

  • Australian Consumer Law: no misleading conduct; disclose affiliate relationships.
  • Spam Act 2003: consent required for commercial messaging.
  • Privacy Act 1988: personal data must be handled lawfully.
  • Fair Trading Legislation: comply with applicable state and federal rules.
  • International affiliates must comply with local laws.

11. Term and Termination

  • The Agreement begins upon acceptance.
  • Either party may terminate at any time with written notice.
  • Wildfire may terminate immediately for breach; commissions are forfeited.
  • Remove all Wildfire branding and Special Links upon termination.
  • Inactive accounts may be closed (see Section 23).

12. Relationship of Parties

Affiliates and Wildfire are independent contractors. No partnership or employment relationship is created.

13. Limitations of Liability

Wildfire Oil is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Total liability is limited to referral fees paid under this Agreement.

14. Disclaimers

Wildfire Oil provides the Program “as is” and makes no warranties regarding uptime, performance, or accuracy.

15. Dispute Resolution

Parties will attempt mediation within 30 days of notice. Unresolved matters will proceed to confidential arbitration under ACICA. Queensland law applies.

16. Intellectual Property

Affiliates may use Wildfire trademarks only as provided. Unauthorised modification or distribution is prohibited.

17. Unpaid Commissions Upon Termination

If terminated without breach, outstanding commissions above $50 AUD will be paid out. Balances below this threshold are forfeited.

18. Accessibility

The Program is designed to be accessible to all users. Contact us for specific accessibility needs.

19. Changes to Terms

The current Terms will be available on the affiliate dashboard. Significant changes may be communicated via email or notifications.

20. Use of Artwork and Product Images

  • Use only Wildfire-approved promotional materials.
  • Ensure your materials remain current.
  • Apply requested updates within 7 days.

21. Use of Affiliate Content

By participating, you grant Wildfire a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use your Affiliate Content to promote Wildfire products, with creator credit where practicable.

22. Prohibited Practices

  • No brand bidding on Wildfire terms.
  • No coupon abuse.
  • No medical or therapeutic claims.
  • No undisclosed endorsements.
  • No spam or unsolicited messaging.
  • No cookie stuffing or link hijacking.
  • No self-referrals.
  • No impersonation of Wildfire.
  • Publish accurate pricing only.

23. Inactive Affiliate Accounts

We occasionally review accounts to keep the Program organised and fair. If an account has no referrals, no commissions, and no meaningful engagement for six consecutive months, we may suspend or close it.

Before closure, a 14-day notice will be sent to the email on file.

  • Balances of $50 AUD or more will be paid out.
  • Balances under $50 AUD will be cleared and not paid out.
